A couple of weeks ago, i got home from work to find that Cricket had cut his hind pastern pretty badly. Realizing it was in a jointed area i knew stitches wouldn't help but wrapping it would.  At first it didnt want to start healing but i prayed and God has answered my prayers. He gave me direction in doctoring the area and Cricket's cut is healing nicely. I hope to be able to start back to riding soon, maybe in a couple of weeks.
He is getting his hooves trimmed this afternoon so will be more than ready when the cut is healed well enough.
In the meantime, i am enlarging his stall so he will hopefully be safer in it. He needs it in inclement weather, be it stormy or brrr cold outside.
