Houndies lovin life

Devon is one of our male bassets. Willie is our miniature dachshund. Willie either loves Devon or prefers to try to dominate Devon. We just arent sure. Quite often Willie sleeps right up next to Devon or lays on top of him. This morning i got this picture of them sleeping together and just had to share. 

Amelia's new home

Amelia was adopted to a lady who ended up in a domestic violence relationship. After she separated from her husband, Amelia needed a new home where she could be loved and spoiled. While i fostered Amelia for about 6 weeks, i knew she was here to stay. 

Amelia is the perfect dog. She doesnt get into anything. She just prefers to snuggle.

Hobo is one if our cats. Sometimes he comes in with one of his prizes. He caught this mouse and brought in to us. I had to get this picture to share. He is such a hunter.

Spending a day alone

This picture is Lucy lounging on our new couch. This picture wasnt taken today but she does love the new couch. I spent some time this morning watching TV today lounging on the couch too.

Then this afternoon, a very special friend of mine, Tina from Norway called me. I had the best time talking with her.

leisure day at the lake

My life is quite often stressful. So last weekend, i told my hubby i wanted to take two of our hounds to the lake and walk some. So here are the only two pictures i took. It was a peaceful day and we all, hounds included had a good afternoon.

I thought the picture of the of the fluffy stuff on the bank was pretty but the best picture is the one of the lake and greenery.
