Enjoying time with my In Laws

Today, my in laws came to eat with us. I grilled hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. Chip's friend Steve ate with us too. We all enjoyed good conversation together. I just wish i had gotten a picture of us all. But i think I'll share a butterfly picture instead to at least have some beauty here on this post.

Disgruntled neighbor

in the south, there is this thing called southern hospitatility. When people from the north or other countries come to the south depending on the area of the south, they may experience a hospitatiliy that they arent accustomed to. I find that to be true in my opinion of a neighbor. Its hard to extend kindness to someone who tells you to stay off their property for no real reason than you are driving thru the edge of your property and theirs.
I have no negative agenda in doing so. Id even cut their back yard for them just as neighborly kindness.
Well they cant tell me not to pray for them of which im gonna do.

That past 5 years have been a huge change. It all started with the death of my husband Everett Bagby from lung cancer. Then i moved to my own home. In january 2013 i met a sweet amazing man that is known as Chip to his friends and family. We married on August 29, 2014. We bought a house together and are enjoying our new home.
The dog in the picture is one i found on my way to work. He was about 2 months old and had been hit by a car. After taking him to the vet, he only had a bad concussion. Hes a wild child but so loving.
When we first looked at the house we ultimately bought, it felt like home. I enjoy the wooded area behind the house. Those woods give a country atmosphere to the area even though we have close neighbors.
Ive lived in the country all my adult life so living in the city is new.
I got excited when i met one of the neighbors who i thought might be a new friend. However after her coming into the house after we started house keeping, she commented that she couldnt handle it without the previous there. Since that time, shes been distant but polite. Ive had to learn to live life without active friends.
My best friend for 38 years had a stroke. She is now struggling with her limitations and somewhat distant. Another friend has gotten into a new hobby and is also distant.
However Christ reminds me He is my best friend and will never leave me. Thank you, Jesus!
